The process of getting the CD self-published requires a lot of time and research to complete. A reel-to-reel tape, taken to Cheeks Studio was mastered and digitized. The idea to write the Children's Chapter Books came from the need to tell the story behind the Castle of Dreams Acoustic Solo Piano Music, that I had composed.
When someone found my piano music on the Internet and mentioned that their daughter starting dancing to the song "Blue Butterfly". I realized that I had perhaps, written music that could one day be a ballet.
I wrote the first book of the "Castle of Dreams" chapter book series in order to tell a choreographer the story behind the music.
Castle of Dreams and the Dragon Princess grew into a chapter book series for middle-grade readers. Children making the transition from picture books to chapter books. Currently there are three books in the Castle of Dreams series. The third book has yet to be officially published, but is available for review by request, in MicroSoft Word format.
